BUMA Signed New Contract with PT Indonesia Pratama

PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama ("BUMA"), has entered into mining services contracts with PT Indonesia Pratama (“IPR”), a subsidiary of an IDX-listed PT Bayan Resources Tbk. (“BYAN”). IPR is a robust project with high reserve potentials located in Tabang, the Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Province of East Kalimantan.

The contract is approximately valued at Rp 14 trillion or equivalent to over US$1.0 billion, for expected total volume of 287 million bcm in overburden removal, and 96 million tonnes in coal under the mining services contracts. In addition, BUMA is expected to haul 95 million tonnes of coal under the coal transport contract. The contracts will last eight years to December 2025, with average annual production of 38 - 42 million bcm of overburden removal and 12 - 14 million tonnes of coal, after ramp-up. Production is expected to start in July 2018.

The IPR contract reflects re-establishment of relationship with Bayan group, a notable name in Indonesia coal industry, with whom the Company worked in the recent past. The Company hopes to nurture strong relationship that would translate to long-term partnership.

Previous to IPR, BUMA recently signed three contracts, altogether valued at around US$1.0 billion. Including IPR, BUMA has secured a total of US$2.0 billion worth of contracts in 2018, bringing its total order book to US$7.0 billion. BUMA continues to pursue discussions related to both extensions and new contracts. In doing so, BUMA remains focused on attaining long-term sustainability and delivering profitable growth.
