BUMA Australia renewed contract with Blackwater

BUMA AUSTRALIA HAS RENEWED CONTRACT WITH BLACKWATER

PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk. (the "Company") on 22nd February 2022 is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama ("BUMA"), through its Australian subsidiary, BUMA Australia Pty Ltd (“BUMA Australia”), has renewed its mining services contracts with BHP Billiton and Mitsubishi Alliance (“BMA”), in relation to its Blackwater mine operation (“Blackwater”), which includes an extension to June 2026. Blackwater, a metallurgical coal mine, is located in Blackwater, Queensland.

The extension contract:

• Adds approximately AU$550 million to BUMA Australia’s order book;
• Further supports the Company’s acquisition of BUMA Australia;
• Reflects the confidence that BMA (Australia’s largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal), and its joint venture participants, have in BUMA Australia’s ability to operate large and complex mining projects; and
• Has average annual production of approximately 36 million bcm of overburden removal.

To further strengthen its business, BUMA Australia will continue to pursue discussions with both existing and new potential customers for new contracts. This renewal and continued efforts to grow in Australia further validates the commitment of the Company in Australia and affirms the Australian business acquisition by the Company through BUMA.
