He joined Tiga Investments in 2019 as a Managing Director. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director and Partner at Farallon Capital Management from 2007 to 2019, where he played a pivotal role in most of the private credit and private equity investments of Farallon Asia. Sumardi has been serving as the Director of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama since February 2023. He brings more than 29 years of experience in mining contractor services, with the last 16 years spent at PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama.
Previously, he was a member of the Executive Leadership Team (Business Unit) from 2021 to 2023, served as General Manager of SHE, General Manager of Plant, and Manager of Plant. Before his tenure at BUMA, he held the position of Superintendent Plant at PT Saptaindra Sejati and PT Pamapersada Nusantara.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Esa Unggul University and an Associate Degree in Engineering from ITB Polytechnic.

Elsahmul Asyur has been serving as Director of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama since February 2023. He possesses more than 27 years of experience in the mining services industry, specifically in mine planning and mine engineering.
Before assuming his current role, he was a part of the Executive Leadership Team, served as Manager of Engineering, General Manager of Engineering, and Director of Operation Business Unit at PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama. He previously worked as a Mine Planning Manager and Senior Mine Engineer at Leighton Contractors Indonesia, and as a Senior Mine Engineer at Indo Muro Kencana.
He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from Sriwijaya University.
